4DIAC

4DIAC logo 4DIAC is intended for the programming of programmable logic controllers (PLCs); it provides an alternative programming based on the distributed control standard IEC 61499. It can be used for the development of distributed control software and for the deployment of the code to the various hardware devices.

AIDE

AIDE provides support tools for data integration in the engineering of CPS tool-chains. This platform addresses innovative approaches for creating tailored tool-chains for the engineering of Cyber-Physical Systems, in particular targeting data integration based on open standards (OSLC) and open source software for code generation.

Crescendo logo The Crescendo toolsuite is a modelling tool that supports collaborative simulation in dependable embedded systems. This allows engineers and/or computer scientists working with different modelling notations to develop system models in a collaborative way.

eMIR

eMIR logo eMIR is an open initiative of the German maritime industry for improving safety and efficiency in maritime transportation systems. It provides a framework for engineering, validation, verification, and demonstration of technological innovations as for new cooperation and process models. It also supports user integration into the design process. eMIR provides practical and empirical foundation for the development of international regulations and standards and fosters a sustainable market position for vendors of maritime safety systems and components.

Fortiss Future Factory

Fortiss Future Factory logo fortiss future factory (f++) is a setup comprising 13 different MPS production machines from Festo Didactic controlled via different types of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and microcontrollers. The production machines have been modified to allow for an arbitrary arrangement of them in a production line.

GenoM logo The Generator of Modules GenoM is a tool to design real-time software architectures. It encapsulates software functions inside independent components. GenoM is more specifically dedicated to complex on-board systems, such as autonomous mobile robots or satellites.

A solution for IoT based on a network of nodes with mesh topology that communicate through a Std.IEEE802.15.4 Physical Layer under a 6LowPAN over IPv6 to implement Link and Network Layers.

SOFIA2

SOFIA2 logo SOFIA (Smart Objects For Intelligent Applications) is an Internet of Things (IoT) platform with real implementations in various sectors.

SOFIA2 is:

  • Middleware that provides seamless interoperability between multiple devices and systems.
  • A semantic interoperability platform, which allows the exchange of information from the real world between smart applications (Internet of Things) to build composed services.
  • Offering an open source, multi-language and communications agnostic approach.
SOFIA has proved its effectiveness with more than 7 pilot projects, associated with application domains such as: smart cities, smart spaces; electric vehicles; domotics; video processing; energy efficiency; and tourism.
